IKEA is hiring for the role of Food Production!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for securing compliance and food safety framework and standards, WoW (Ways of Working), and tools for the IKEA Food areas and selling solutions in the unit.
• Be an active partner to the store commercial team by securing food safety compliance in all food activities and events.
• Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within the Food team to secure integration and a common approach.
• Support stakeholders in ensuring the implementation of local legal legislation on product specification, labeling, import (if applicable), and other related processes.
• Liaise with external companies and authorities ensuring food safety compliance and verification activities e.g. HACCP certification, microbiological, and other food safety-related analyses or tests.
• Ensure regular HACCP/ISO certification on a unit level and actively contribute to the country's agenda. Take an active role in supporting the process of food safety and compliance audits.
• Secure clear internal communication on food safety and compliance.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, training, information, and sharing to, and between, the unit Food team.
• Contribute to the implementation of the IKEA global and national strategies (affordability, accessibility, people & planet).
  

Requirements:

• Knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values, and vision.
• Knowledge of IKEA food safety and compliance standards and processes.
• Knowledge of IKEA's sustainability strategy.
• Knowledge of local food legislation and operational compliance standards and documentation.
• Knowledge regarding HACCP, food safety standards, and procedures.
• Knowledge of business operational basic processes.
• Broad knowledge about the local market environment and food safety expectations from customers today and tomorrow to ensure that commercial and service offers meet customer demands and needs.
