Sapaad is hiring for the role of Ruby on Rails Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design, build, and maintain clean, efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards)
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
- Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient, test-driven code
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Understanding of functional programming style in Ruby
- Skills for writing reusable Ruby libraries that may be used in expressive ways
- Knowledge of React/Angular and other JS UI libraries
- Excellent CSS/XHTML skills
- Experience with both external and embedded databases, relational database design & complex query development (PostGRES preferred)
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git preferred)
- Familiarity with development-aiding tools (GEMS etc)
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Working knowledge of PaaS and SaaS Platforms
