RTL Design Engineer Job in Bangalore at Samsung

Samsung is hiring for the role of RTL Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and implement RTL or Subsystem Verification for mobile SoCs (System-on-Chip) based on skill and interest.
• Focus areas may include Clock, Power IP/Subsystem, BUS/Subsystem, Peripheral/CPU/GPU Subsystems, or others.
• Possess a strong understanding of digital design principles and AMBA SoC BUS protocols (APB, AXI, AHB).
• Develop micro-architecture and detailed design documents emphasizing performance, power, and area optimization.
• Utilize industry-standard verification tools like Verdi and NCSIM for effective debugging.
• Integration experience in Top-Level, Block-Level, or Subsystem-Level SoC integration (preferred).
• Collaborate with the Design Verification (DV) team to enhance verification coverage.
• Work with DV, Physical Design (PD), and Modeling teams for GLS (Golden Living Simulation) closure.
• Apply knowledge of Clock Domain Crossing (CDC), Linting, UPF, DFT (Design for Test), and Multi-Voltage-Rule-Check analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech.) or Master's degree (M.E./M.Tech.) in Engineering. Ph.D. is a plus.
