Black Coffee Robotics is hiring for the role of Robotics Engineering Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct research and feasibility analysis for project requirements based on sales team inputs
• Lead customer interactions and translate requirements into software architecture and development plans
• Oversee and review engineering efforts of mid/junior engineers
• Develop high-quality software solutions for project deliverables
• Stay current with latest robotics developments (Reinforcement Learning, Simulations, LLMs)
• Shape development directions aligned with BCR's capabilities and business goals
• Lead in-house development initiatives for promotion and growth
• Contribute to open-source packages, marketing, and direct sales activities
• As a Senior Robotics Engineer (SRE) at Black Coffee Robotics, you will spearhead engineering efforts for project execution and overall company growth.
• You will be responsible for leading technical initiatives, mentoring team members, and driving innovation in robotics solutions.

Requirements:

• Work experience of 2-5 years
• Strong programming proficiency in C++ and Python
• Extensive experience with ROS2 development
• Deep understanding of core robotics concepts (SLAM, Controls, Planning, Transforms)
• Experience with simulation tools (Gazebo/Unity/Mujoco)
• Proficiency with development tools (Docker, Git)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated passion and commitment to robotics
• Strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Leadership capabilities and mentorship experience
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities
