- Identifying, analyzing, monitoring, reporting, and minimizing information technology control issues within GDT.
- Defining, documenting, and communicating standardized and proactive processes for technology control issue identification, treatment, monitoring, and reporting.
- Supports the GDT line of business in gathering information and preparing for all tech control-related reporting and meetings, i.e. internal and external audit, regulatory interaction, as well as the Key Risk Review and related meetings.
- Collaborates with the assigned Application managers to ensure tracking and timely remediation of control issues is occurring.
- Supports the Technology Control Self-Assessment (TCSA) and High-Level Assessment (HLA) processes for GDT.
- Coordinates the issue and exception/acceptance processes, including self-reported issues. This role is expected to support all colleagues across ASP, UK, US, and MEANT.
- Provides consultative guidance on the prioritization of remediation efforts and supports new initiatives by implementing control measurement and monitoring.
- Responsible for collaborations with the various other organization units within HSBC such as Group Control Owners, Cybersecurity, CCO, ORR 2LoD, and GIA 3LoD, and supports strategic initiatives as agreed upon by the Ex-Co.
