Risk Management Analyst Job in Gurgaon at American Express

American Express is hiring for the role of Risk Management Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Challenge efficacy of Third-Party program design and execution through participation in review activities
• Support the lead reviewer in conducting ongoing monitoring activities, including scheduled reviews
• Support the team in various audit exams/requests from different audit or regulatory groups
• Assess risk data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy
• Contribute to the identification and monitoring of third-party key risk indicators
• Support team’s goals and objectives, including continuous program improvements
• Promote effective teamwork across multiple stakeholder groups

Requirements:

• Minimum 2- 3 years of experience in risk management/audit /internal control function / similar role or relevant experience in consultancy within the Big Four or in a bank/financial institution background.
• Working knowledge of principles of effective risk management.
• Understand operational risk frameworks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently, translating complex content into succinct language
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Risk-focused and critical attitude, with the ability to identify potential process flaws and drive course correction.
• Ability to translate complex or disparate information into a cohesive conclusion.
• Ability to work independently and across a matrix organization, partnering with business partners and functional owners.
• Proactively identifying issues, delivering and escalating key findings, and advising on recommended solutions to correct problems or mitigate risks.
• This role requires one to be in the office for 3 days/week (Hybrid).
• Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or similar field; MBA/CA/CS is preferred.
  Understanding of interagency guidance for Third-Party Lifecycle: Risk Management is an added advantage.
