Risk & Control Analyst Job in Pune at Barclays

Barclays is hiring for the role of Risk & Control Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Embedding the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) to ensure appropriate risk management coverage, building effective partnerships with colleagues across the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence, aligning priorities to anticipate and ensure future potential issues are avoided
• Driving compliance with Group policies, regulatory requirements, and social expectations whilst embedding conduct considerations in daily activities.
• Identify, evaluate, report and escalate risks in line with Barclays risk and control frameworks, utilising relevant tools and analytical techniques.
• Reviewing activities to remediate control gaps and assess whether the risk has been fully mitigated and whether the implemented controls are sustainable.
• Guiding to ensure compliance with Barclays Group and Technology Policies, Standards, frameworks and procedures across Business Units, Functions and Shared Services.
• Reporting the results of testing activities to Senior Stakeholders across Business Units, Functions and Shared Services.
• Influencing and supporting the implementation of the Technology CCO strategy.
• Meeting the needs of key internal and external risk processes, reporting schedules, stakeholders and regulatory authorities in delivering assurance activities.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have a successful and extensive track record working internally in a financial services institution with strong evidence of career progression and high achievement
• In addition, it is preferred that candidates have a strong academic record
• Language skills: The right candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, and excellent communication skills are an essential requirement
• Excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills is crucial
• Personal Attributes: The successful candidate will be an action-orientated, proactive individual and a structured thinker with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate self-motivation, logical thinking, influencing and presentation skills and an ability to communicate with ease and credibility
• Collegiate with a strong team approach and ability to network and build relationships across teams will be very important
• Graduate or/post-graduate
• Skills Required:
  • Experience in Information Security in a Banking  Management environment
  • Experience in a Risk and/or Control function
  • Certifications like CISM Or CRISC are an added advantage
