Risk and Financial Advisory – Associate Analyst Job in Hyderabad at Deloitte

Deloitte is hiring for the post of Risk and Financial Advisory - Associate Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Providing an extensive range of accounting and reporting services in addition to enhancing the overall value that financial services deliver to the business.
• Reviewing and analyzing key elements of the customer’s record, validating against regulatory documents submitted by the customer, recording findings, and highlighting issues.
• Reviewing system-generated alerts to identify suspicious trends and activity by monitoring transactions through various client systems/applications.
• Driving operational efficiencies in the financial close and reporting process by providing efficient, sustainable, and technology-enabled solutions aligned with accounting and financial reporting requirements.
• Conducting research about the customer and its related parties using LexisNexis, World Check, third-party databases, and publicly available sources.
• Reviewing suspicious activity reports, addressing sanctions alerts, and other applicable AML processes in accordance with regulations.
• Coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g., front office, middle office, clients, etc.) and obtaining required information related to client onboarding and KYC profile.

Requirements:

• Full-time BBA/BBM/B.Com graduates with 0-1 year of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance, Corporate Governance & Clause, AML, KYC related activities
• Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 60% or equivalent with no active backlog(s)/arrears
• Strong analytical and critical thinking/problem-solving skills. Business mindset to understand the rationale behind the transactions and ability and willingness to dive deeper into industry issues and bring greater insights for our clients
• Knowledge of accounting standards and financial management concepts, strong computer knowledge, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of common third-party databases and public resources used for due diligence research
• Flexibility regarding working in shifts for client service projects
• This role is for a fixed tenure of 1 year
• Additional qualifications/certifications in Internal Controls, GRC, AML, and KYC will be an added advantage
