Risk Analytics Analyst Job in Bangalore at Xerox Corporation

Xerox is hiring for the role of Risk Analytics Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Extract and process large datasets from central databases/repositories to support Risk analytics work & reporting using SAS, Python and the Microsoft Office suite
• Coordinate and partner with other team members to deliver high value analytics based on business requirements
• Develop, monitor and optimize auto-decisioning systems (including credit scoring models)
• Provide Analytic support on key company initiatives including partnership with PEAC
• Identify trends in the market and business environment to support forecasting and planning and overall portfolio performance
• Provide recommendations for systems and performance improvements as appropriate
• Carry out data management and preparation activities including but not limited to extraction, clean-up, linkage, aggregation, filtering of data based on a solid understanding of the company’s data systems, structures and limitations
• Prepare and deliver analyses and reports as required by stakeholders based on a strong, thorough analytical process and insightful data visualizations
• Develop new portfolio analytics capabilities and tools to add in existing portfolio monitoring process. Add new & enhanced KPI’s to existing reporting for more insightful portfolio reviews
• Build, document, monitor and maintain scoring models (using ML) for auto-decisioning systems and advanced portfolio management. Support model implementation and mitigate model risk
• Use quantitative analytics to validate the performance of existing strategies/ processes/models and recommend changes when required
• Work closely with Chief Risk Officers, underwriters, IT, business partners and external vendors to develop and implement sound data management, analytic and reporting logics
• Act as contact point for users and IT resources to manage performance and functionality of Risk systems
• Our Risk capabilities support best-in-class customer/partner leasing experience and contribute to XFS’s financial performance through high automation, high approval rates and low losses. The Risk Analytics Analyst will adapt our algorithms and reporting to the evolving environment and further strengthen XFS’s profitability
• The role reports to the Global Risk Analytics and Reporting Director within the Risk Function of Xerox

Requirements: 

• Passionate about data science
• Bachelor/MBA/MA/MS Degree in Data Science/Economics/Statistics
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience
• Advanced user in SAS BASE/STAT, Python and SQL
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to work with limited and/or complex data sets
• Ability to interpret data and translate into meaningful business insights
• Professional experience of credit scoring and ML models development and implementation is a plus
• Strong rigor and project management skills
• Analytical and collaborative mindset
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced international environment
• Self-starter, self-motivated with good communication skills
• Knowledge of credit vendor data (D&B, Graydon, etc.) & platforms a plus
• Fluent in English
