Risk Analyst Job in Ahmedabad at iRageCapital

iRage is hiring for the role of Risk Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Build and enhance existing processes to generate daily reports. 
• Work on state-of-the-art tools and frameworks to improve the operational efficiency of the team
• Develop transaction and portfolio monitoring systems to track and report daily changes to positioning and risk measures.
• Track external developments in the market and figuring out risks that could apply to our trading operations.
• Analyse, interpret and summarize performance data and analyze results to identify key takeaways and make actionable recommendations to traders
• Monitor and enhance the existing PnL processes and other MIS reports.
• Work closely with traders and management on ad-hoc projects.

Requirements: 

• Basic awareness of financial markets and fundamentals.
• Ability to analyze ad-hoc risks and support all respective teams to resolve them.
• Strong in Python or R. Confidence in data analysis using these tools is a must. 
  (The candidate must show proficiency in coding and regularly work with Python/R to perform analysis)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
