Revit Engineer Job at Facet Construction Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D models using Revit based on architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in coordinating various disciplines within the BIM environment, identifying and resolving potential clashes or conflicts.
• Maintain and enforce BIM modeling standards, ensuring consistency across all project teams and adherence to industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough reviews of BIM models to identify errors, constructability issues, and efficiency improvements.
• Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation from the Revit models to support design, construction, and coordination processes.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on Revit software and BIM-related processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in BIM technology and propose innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of BIM deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers and contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience working as a Revit Engineer or BIM Specialist in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Revit software and its functionalities, including experience with parametric families and custom content creation.
• Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, standards (such as IFC, COBie), and BIM Level of Detail (LOD) concepts.
• Familiarity with other BIM-related software and tools (Navisworks, Dynamo, etc.).
• Proficiency in interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve modeling issues efficiently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse project teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
