Make My Trip is hiring for the role of Revenue Management!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Defining and driving the short-term and long-term growth agenda of the business while influencing various cross-functional teams.
• Managing the business P&L and devising strategies to achieve revenue goals
• Tactically managing active revenue levers to achieve daily margin, conversion, and transaction goals.
• Leading discussions on relevant alliances and execute tactical marketing campaigns.
• Tracking performance parameters and keep tight control over business KPI numbers.
• Deep diving into competitor pricing data and use signals to improve category pricing.
• Deep diving into demand signals and traffic data to decipher business and marketing strategy.
• Collaborating with marketing team to devise and execute customer engagement strategies and campaigns.
• Understanding new markets and segmentsthe trends and customer behaviour and work with marketing, supply, and product to maximise conversion based on those trends.
• Following a stringent action plan and collaborating with the product team to increase platform conversion for the hotel category.
• Working with product teams to automate or improve pricing, business reporting, and alerting mechanisms.
• Collaborating with the operations team to devise and ensure smooth post-sale processes.

Data Analytics

• Creating and maintaining rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
• Proactively analysing data using statistical methods to answer key questions from stakeholders or self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• MBA from a reputed institute with 3 to 5 years of experience in business/ revenue/ category role for a consumer facing, technology enabled business in the e-commerce industry.
• Mindset that will constantly think about Return on Investment, business and revenue.
• Passion for data and an exceptional ability to solve complex problems
• Strong communication skills, influencing skills, great interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.
• High on energy, team player coupled with a great attitude.
