Revenue Accountant Job at Turing

Turing is hiring for the role of Revenue Accountant!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• As a Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate recording of revenue-related transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Participate in monthly accounting close activities and deliverables in NetSuite (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, analytics, and reporting).
• Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Sales, Sales Operations, Legal and Finance.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch validations to ensure seamless system implementation.
• Support the overall order to cash operations - reviewing contracts,  onboarding customers, invoicing accurately and timely and developer payouts, etc.
• Ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding systems, flow of transactions, and internal controls and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in refining revenue accounting operations with a focus on continuous improvements.
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits and prepare audit schedules and disclosure-related schedules in a timely manner.
• Ad hoc project work as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of combined experience in public accounting or in a corporate revenue accounting role
•  Experience using NetSuite and Salesforce
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Data Analytics software
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented
