CFA Institute is hiring for the role of Research Specialist- Capital Markets!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Crafting insightful reports, presentations, and other materials tailored for key stakeholders, including regulators, industry professionals, and CFA societies, to promote capital market policies and advocate for positive change.
• Leading or supporting projects on critical local and regional market issues, contributing to our mission of improving the investment industry.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with regulators, Thinktanks, trade associations, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and inform the policy dialogue.
• Assisting local CFA societies in preparing research papers, drafting consultation responses, and contributing to thought leadership on capital market trends.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (preferably in finance, business, economics, or law).
• CFA charter holder or candidate preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets research, or financial regulation. Experience with regulators or financial institutions is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, including persuasive writing, public speaking, and presentation abilities.
• A strong interest in Indian and APAC financial markets, with a clear understanding of how market developments are reshaping the investment industry.
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use standard Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to a high standard.
• Background in using data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g. Python) preferred.
