Boston Consulting Group is hiring for the role of Research Associate - Data & Research Services!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop capabilities to understand and anticipate case team research needs (understanding case-team asks, client contexts, etc. to tailor research accordingly). Continuously engage with RAs and SRAs to discuss the same
• Demonstrate speed-to-output and client-orientation in delivery (improving on effectiveness in research completion)
• Strong ownership with the ability to manage (ability to identify priority) multiple requests at the same time
• Flexible to pivot with business needs; comfortable to operate during APAC/EUR business hours
• Focus on customer satisfaction as the primary goal

Requirements:

• 1-1.2 years of relevant working experience in providing research support towards buy/sell side commercial/strategic/business due diligence for target/private equity clients, benchmarking (financial, product and competition) and business strategy
• Ability to perform sector-agnostic research given PIPE work cuts across industries
• Sound understanding of financial statements/metrics for private companies
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proficiency in English; verbal and written
• Familiar with the industry-leading databases such as Pitchbook, Preqin, Capital IQ, Factiva, Thomson Reuters, etc.
• Ability to work with wide-array of platforms including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to be able to provide insights in the most user-friendly format
• You must hold an Undergraduate degree with impressive academics. Advance degree or certification in finance would be a plus
