Research Associate Job in Bangalore at Enverus

Enverus is hiring for the role of Research Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Identify and create workflows for external and internal partners to aid in their decision-making processes
• Assist with maintenance of various automation and upgrades to existing automation
• Pitch innovative ideas for streamlining ops and assist in deploying scripts for various Enverus products
• Manipulate, process and standardize large datasets in a timely manner
• Research, identify and test new datasets publicly available online
• Develop specialized financial and forecasting models using securities filings, investor documents, transcripts, press releases, internal global scouting, and other sources. These models support research publications and may become integrated with Enverus’ proprietary technology platform, Enverus Prism™
• Update, maintain and improve proprietary databases critical for formulating opinions on assets including economic assumptions, operational velocity metrics, and financial data
• Participate in conference calls and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging Enverus Intelligence™, Enverus Foundations™ and Enverus Core™ solutions to help answer some of the hardest questions facing industry and investors today.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of work experience is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Strong grasp of programming languages for data manipulation, preferably Python, Pyspark, SQL
• GIS skills a plus
• Creative and analytical mindset
• Experience in large data sets and data visualizations
• Innovative mindset and detail-oriented with strong curiosity to learn
• Ability to work independently with good time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize actionable analysis from large, dynamic data sets.
• Ambition to work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts with a steep learning curve and commitment to career development
• Proven problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze and concisely articulate complex ideas through writing and verbal presentations
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to develop a deep understanding of the technologies and companies driving the energy transition and to become the leading expert in this field
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Economics/Engineering/Finance, or related field
