Research Associate Job in Bangalore at Ashoka Trust For Research In Ecology And The Environment

Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment is hiring for the role of Research Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Reviewing relevant literature and preparing research design under the guidance of the principal investigator
• Operationalising the research proposal and conducting data from multiple field sites
• Analysing data and preparing project reports
• Engaging with multiple stakeholders, including government and non-government organisations
• Organising workshops for stakeholders
• Executing any other work related to the project assigned by the principal investigator

Requirements: 

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, Marathi, and Hindi
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh
• Experience in managing research projects independently
• Minimum two years of field-level working experience related to agriculture, water and
  sanitation, groundwater management, natural resources management, and community participation. Previous experience working on water-related projects or programs requiring coordination with government departments will be prioritised.
• Masters in Water Policy and Governance/ Policy Studies/ Political Science/ Sociology/ Human Geography/ Social Work/ Rural Development and Management/ Natural Resource Management/ Development Studies from reputed institute
