Research Analyst – Behaviour Science Job in Delhi at Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW)

Council on Energy, Environment and Water is hiring for the role of Research Analyst – Behaviour Science!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct in-depth literature review on key behavioural science topics as per programme needs and prepare summary points
• Keep updated with recent academic and grey literature at an ongoing basis to keep the team updated on latest findings and debates in behavioural sciences
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand team needs, conceptualise interventions addressing the need, and assess effectiveness of interventions
• To provide research content for the organisation's web pages, blogs, issue briefs, etc
• To help younger staff members build capacity on working with big data sets
• To engage with relevant stakeholders from industries, policy experts, academicians
• To participate in relevant conferences, workshops, training programmes for a comprehensive understanding of air quality management in India and globally

Requirements:

• ducation and experience
• Masters in behavioural science, public policy, or a related field
• Subject matter expertise in behavioural sciences including diagnosis, behavioural design and designing trials.
• Awareness about major behavioural interventions in the development/air quality/ solid waste management/crop residue management, energy access space including “nudge” public policy units
• Prior experience in design and/or implementation and/or assessment of behavioural interventions
• 1-3 years of experience in designing and rolling out behavioural science experiments
• Knowledge of English, Hindi and Punjabi language is desirable
• Strong analytic skills including quantitative research skills
• Ability to handle large datasets
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn new (research and project management) skills
• Ability to adapt to the new environment and deliver under tight deadlines in a professional environment
• Striving for rigour in research and quality in work output
• Ability to effectively work in a team while being able to independently drive research with minimum assistance, when time demands
• Ability to dig deeper into details, while also keeping a sense of the broader objectives and big picture
• Willingness to learn, grow and develop at personal and professional front, at a rapid pace with a steep learning curve
