Research Analyst Job in Kolkata at Cresco Research

Responsibilities:
The candidate will work directly with the Senior Research Analyst / Manager on many
aspects of the research process:
• Building and maintaining financial and market models;
• Analysing the competitive landscape and companies in the respective sector;
• Writing research notes and industry pieces; and
• Communicating those ideas to internal and external constituents.
• Perform financial analysis including integrated three statement model, valuation (multiple method triangulation), CF modelling, etc.
• Preparing documents including Pitchbooks, Teaser, Information Memorandums, Management Presentations, etc.
• Undertaking due diligence as related to deals
• Contribute to Investor network building.

Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis
• Knowledge of Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and MS-Excel is essential
• Logical, detailed oriented and possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Independent thinking and analytical mindset
• Business writing skills
• Multi-tasker with the ability to work well under tight deadlines
• Fluency in English, good attitude, integrity and professionalism is a must.

Qualification:
• MBA/MS in Finance, other disciplines may be considered if the candidate has a background in accountancy AND/OR
• CFA charter holder, level II candidate at the minimum AND/OR
• Chartered Accountants
• Smart graduates who believe they cracked it young.
