Deloitte is hiring for the role of Research Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide strategic insights to Deloitte’s senior leadership on key markets and client priorities, encompassing growth strategies, competition, innovation, industry disruptions, and alliances and ecosystems.
• Master and apply research tools and methodologies to develop comprehensive consultative research solutions tailored to client needs.
• Conduct in-depth analysis across strategic, macroeconomic, and public policy domains by synthesizing various pieces of information, identifying patterns, and constructing a logical framework to deliver compelling analyses.
• Develop and apply advanced econometric models to interpret complex data sets and forecast economic outcomes, providing actionable insights.
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and interpret the latest developments in economics, public policy, and related fields to inform and enhance strategic recommendations.
• Utilize data visualization techniques to present complex economic data and insights.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, communicate findings effectively, and provide tailored recommendations that address their specific challenges and opportunities.
• Foster a culture of innovation by continuously seeking opportunities to improve research methodologies, analytical tools, and strategic frameworks.

Requirements

• Master's degree in economics.
• Exceptional communication skills reflect the ability to build a robust narrative and articulate a point of view in written and spoken business English.
• Specializations in econometrics, macroeconomics, public policy, or financial economics are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in statistics and econometric modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, Python).
• Good knowledge of public sector-related databases (OECD, World Bank, IMF, etc.), public sources of information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Exposure to Generative AI tools and prompt engineering is an added advantage.
