Genpact is hiring for the role of Remote Blade Support Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage Cases
  • Monitor the product support queue in ServiceNow and claim any unassigned cases.
  • Support different regions around the globe based on levels of incident management.
  • Understand the needs of the case creator from a technical and administrative standpoint, providing assistance or information as required.
  • Prepare technical documentation to provide resolution or information to the requestor and resolve the case in ServiceNow.
  • Triage cases to the concerned technical team if additional input is needed from other support teams.
  • Manage the overall case touch time, turnaround time, and closure of assigned cases.
• Manage Types of Cases
  • Handle end-of-warranty replacement or repair of blades by identifying issues raised by customers.
  • Review blade damage images to analyze wear and tear on components.
  • Examine blade condition to determine if repair or replacement is required.
  • Cross-verify blade details using the required tools.
  • Provide standard dispositions based on different levels of impairment.
  • Identify different types of detriment in blades and disposition cases accordingly.
  • Deliver support for individual regions as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • B.E / B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering
  • Proven experience with wind turbine blades
  • Ability to make decisions based on respective conditions
  • Experience working with predictive maintenance technologies and practices related to wind turbines
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in cross-functional and cross-organizational communication
  • Knowledge of wind turbine blades
  • Attention to detail and strong articulation skills
  • Ability to navigate both vertically and horizontally in a large organization
