About this Job

Key Responsibilities

1 Acquisition:

  • Acquire ‘New to bank’ savings and current accounts through open market lead generation, delivering successful closure of minimum 12 CASA per month.
  • Achieve CASA value and fee income targets.
  • Achieve FD/TD targets.
  • Adherence to Bank policies and guidelines such as KYC & AML.

2 Customer Onboarding & Activation:

  • Ensure successful onboarding of customer/s for a smooth transition to branch banking products and services.
  • Ensure that customer/s maintain the required balances and start banking transactions in account/s (within Month 1 / Quarter 1)

3 Lead Generation:

  • Actively participate and contribute to successfully execute lead generation / marketing / customer engagement initiatives tagged to the branch and / or other branches within the cluster.

4 Cross sell:

  • Liaison with Branch Manager and Product teams to pitch the most optimum financial solutions to the customer/s.
  • Convert such cross-sell opportunities to increase the Product Holding of the customers.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Qualifications

  • Graduate with minimum 50%
  • IRDA / AMFI certified

Experience

  • Essential o 2-3 years of proven experience in acquisition of New to Bank
  • Savings and Current accounts, preferably with a bank.
  • Has a good knowledge of catchments and segments for new to bank acquisition.
  • Proficient to strike up successful conversations in the local language.

Competencies Required

a. Technical Skills

  • Computer Skills 
  • Basic Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Banking Knowledge Understands the basics of banking business and knowledge of banking products and services, mainly the savings and current account products.

b. Behavioural / Functional Skills

  • Communication Skills Good written & verbal communication. Fluency in English (written and spoken) and local language
  • Presentable - with High Grooming standards Sales Skills 
  • Ability to undertake the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing to successfully deliver business targets consistently, month on month. Listening & Empathy to understand and pitch the right financial solutions to customers
