Standard Chartered is hiring for the role of Relationship Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Complete awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role of Review Fulfilment Manager.
  • Aligned to strategies being formulated from time to time to achieve the desired completion of review within the stipulated time and manage overdue for the team.
  • Undertake a comprehensive analysis of cases assigned due for periodic review as per the laid down process performing enhanced due diligence.
  • Complete review of overdue cases within the stipulated time and manage overdue for all kinds of reviews including periodic review, activation of accounts, SAR, PEP assessment, etc.
  • Achieve the monthly target of completing 16 periodic reviews.
  • Complete the review of overdue cases assigned as per the laid down process of CDD.
  • Perform account review and remediation as per the latest guidelines of One Bank CDD version 4.1.
  • Apply Group and FCC policies and processes (AML surveillance, client screening, risk assessment) to manage risks.
  • Make recommendations (and/or implement) to relevant stakeholders on possible risk management responses to identified risks and/or findings of concerns from investigations.
  • Assess risks arising from products/segments/geographies/customers/transactions.
  • Inform senior management and relevant regulators of serious regulatory breaches (or where risk tolerances have been breached) and ensure that actions are taken quickly to remediate and/or activities are ceased.
  • Analyse significant financial crime risk events (e.g. SARs, non-compliant transactions, production orders) to ensure that all connected parties, particularly cross-border are identified and reported at the appropriate levels internally as well as externally across all relevant jurisdictions.
  • Advise relevant stakeholders on outcomes of [AML/Sanctions/ABC] risk identification and assessment methodologies.
  • Ensure that significant investigations are concluded internally and externally where relevant (including cross-border).
  • Propose control improvements, enhancements, and simplifications where appropriate.
  • Support all control checks undertaken by the FCC under the Operational Risk Framework (ORF
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
