Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement the regional sales strategy in alignment with the national sales objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the region.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and sales executives to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members as needed.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the region.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve any issues to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular meetings and negotiations with high-value clients.

Revenue Growth and Profitability:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the region.
  • Monitor sales metrics and performance, and make adjustments to strategies as needed to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure effective pricing strategies and margin management.

Market Expansion and Business Development:

  • Identify new markets and potential client segments to expand the company’s presence in the region.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop regional marketing and promotional initiatives.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
  • Track sales performance and present insights and recommendations to improve results.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment on regional initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all regional sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Mitigate risks by monitoring contracts, payment terms, and customer creditworthiness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region.
