Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited is hiring for the role of Regional Medical Advisor - Oncology!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for engaging identified key thought leaders through medical affairs activities, in alignment with the overall strategic plan.
• Execute the strategic medical affairs plan, including but not limited to medical education, product education, medical evidence generation, advisory boards, pre-license activities, and special projects.
• Act as a therapeutic area scientific expert, responsible for discussing scientific data pertaining to company products—both proactively and reactively—with leading specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Scientific Society Board Members, and other stakeholders).
• Collaborate with the therapy area lead to support optimal patient outcomes through effective communication of data, knowledge, and insights aligned with healthcare professional needs and organizational goals.
• Represent the organization on various internal and external scientific platforms.
• Gather and analyze insights on disease trends and treatment patterns from key thought leaders, and communicate them to the therapy and commercial teams.
• Conduct proactive disease trend analyses in identified therapeutic areas and contribute to the development of the annual Medical Affairs Strategy Plan.
• Receive and process scientific information requests from physicians in a timely and compliant manner.
• Ensure that all regional activities are conducted in alignment with the organization’s Code of Business Ethics (COBE) and compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with thought leaders to conduct therapy-specific reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, case series, and patient-reported outcome studies, and publish them in reputed journals.
• Develop and implement an optimal training plan to ensure continuous medical updates for sales and marketing teams.
• Identify knowledge, practice, and data gaps within therapeutic areas and develop strategic medical action plans to address them, including education, evidence generation, and special initiatives.
• Handle complex queries from healthcare professionals related to company products or therapeutic areas efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all promotional, physician, and patient education materials are approved within stipulated timelines and adhere to the company’s promotional material approval policy.
• Act as a product pipeline champion, identifying unmet medical needs through active stakeholder engagement and contributing to new product ideation and differentiated product development.

Educational Qualification:

• MBBS with a full-time post-graduate qualification (minimum 2 years) in any medical discipline OR
• MBBS with MBA from a reputed institute

Minimum Work Experience:

• Fresh postgraduate or up to 2 years of experience in field-based Medical Affairs

Technical Skills:

• Strong academic record with in-depth knowledge of the therapeutic area and research methodologies.
• Proficient in interpreting and analyzing medical and scientific data.
• Demonstrated scientific acumen and excellent communication skills for engaging with leading specialists on a peer-to-peer basis.
• Ability to operate effectively in complex business environments.
• Proven track record of success, evidenced by performance ratings, professional accomplishments, or awards.
