Regional Legal Manager Job in Ahmedabad at Sammaan Capital Ltd

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal advice to regional business units on contracts, transactions, and other legal matters.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national laws, including regulatory frameworks and company policies.
• Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations and ensure timely adaptation of policies and practices.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various agreements, including vendor, client, lease, and employment contracts.
• Maintain a repository of contracts and ensure their timely renewal or termination.
• Oversee and manage litigation cases within the region, working closely with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Represent the company in legal disputes and negotiations.
• Maintain records of ongoing and past litigations and report updates to senior management.
• Support corporate governance initiatives, including board meetings, regulatory filings, and corporate structuring.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures across the region.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, finance, operations, and compliance to address legal concerns.
• Act as the point of contact for external counsel, regulators, and other legal entities.
• Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals (if applicable).
• Provide training and awareness sessions on legal and compliance matters to employees.
