About this Job

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the market, expand the customer base, and increase revenue within the assigned region.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and emerging market trends. Analyze data to identify opportunities and create targeted sales approaches.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their needs, challenges, and pain points to propose tailored software solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the features and capabilities of our software products and services. Demonstrate a deep understanding of how they can address client needs and add value to their businesses.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for clients, outlining the benefits of our software solutions. Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts to secure new business.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular progress reports to the sales leadership team. Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful product launches.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to increase brand visibility and establish the company as a thought leader in the software domain.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify potential threats and opportunities, adjusting the business development strategy accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in software sales or business development, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software industry, including software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions and trends in cloud-based technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in using CRM software to manage sales pipelines and customer relationships effectively.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as required for client meetings and industry events.
