Zoom is hiring for the role of Realtime DevOps Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Operate and maintain complex, high-traffic, business-critical network-based communication systems.
• Design and deploy scalable network solutions to connect diverse platforms and protocols, emphasizing IP and VOIP technologies.
• Ensure system performance, availability, and resiliency in real-time communication systems.
• Analyze diverse data scopes, evaluate factors, and select methods to obtain effective solutions.
• Collaborate on live stream and video conferencing technologies to enhance functionality.
• Automate build processes and optimize production software systems.
• Leverage configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Salt to streamline deployments.
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Integrate applications using message brokers and distributed task queues.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (BTech, BCA, MCA).
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, C++, or Java.
  • Expertise in shell scripting and Linux command-line utilities.
  • Experience with MVC Web Application Frameworks like Django, Flask, or Jinja2.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of application integration with message brokers and task queues.
