R&D External Geomet Engineer Job in Pune at Michelin

Michelin is hiring for the role of R&D External Geomet Engineer!

Responsibilities of a Candidate:

• CAD Models and nomenclature of the external geometry of the tire (tread and/or marking) that meet the tire specifications, as well as norms and regulations. These models integrate mold manufacturing /utilization, cost, and standardization constraints
• Updates existing CAD models (simple update and/or use of an existing master model) - Model's creation for simple geometries with or without master models
• Model creation for complex geometries with or without master models
• Estimate Performance for the design team using the CAD performance simulation models
• Build Parametric CAD models (master models) and associated documentation, used for the declination of a series of dimensions or the representation performance area (sculpture or marking)
• Evolution of Methods and/or tools that improve the quality or efficiency of the metier
• Animation of Processes, tools, and methods training sessions
• Tutoring of newcomers in the metier
