Broadcom is hiring for the role of R&D Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Place and Route
• Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS)
• Channel analysis with respect to routing and congestion
• Handling large-scale designs
• Packaging, bonding, and top-level requirements
• Physical verification: DRC, LVS, Antenna, LUP, chip finishing, and tape-out
• Analog block integration and RC requirements for manual/special signals
• Scripting with Perl and TCL, familiarity with Calibre and Innovus
• ECO implementation, IR/IVD fixes, SPEF extraction, signal EM and Noise fixes
• Integrity checks and post-tape-out eJob view release
• Adapting to new technologies and responsibilities
• Effective communication and teamwork for PD milestone achievement

Requirements:

• Experience with Cadence Innovus and Calibre
• Understanding of CTS, STA, PTSI, and timing
• VLSI fabrication process understanding
• Calibre rule deck understanding for DRC/LVS/DFM/DFY/ERC/ESD latchup
