R&D Associate Cyber Security Engineer Job in Bangalore at ABB Group

ABB Group is hiring for the role of R&D Associate Cyber Security Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Security testing of embedded devices (wired and wireless 802.11/ BLE) and host based industrial software’s (Windows and Linux), Web applications, APIs and Mobile Apps (android and iOS) which includes communication/ stack robustness testing, VAPT.
• Performing Firmware analysis and reverse engineering; Hardware exploitation.
• Threat analysis of the devices from a security point of view and In-depth analysis of results and writing technical reports.
• Providing suggestions/fixes for improvement to device/software development teams and evaluating of new testing methodologies relevant for the organization.
• Researching on new technologies/ attack surfaces/ vulnerabilities, and enhancements to existing testing methodologies.
• Perform IEC62443-4-1/ 4-2 assessments and System Level Penetration testing.

Requirements:

• B.E/ B. Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering and M. Tech in Computer Science(CGPA of 6.5 and above).
• 2-4 years of working experience in port scanning, Vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and Fuzzing tools.
• Knowledge of cloud and container security, code review, SAST, and DAST testing is a plus
• Experience in web applications scanning, penetration testing and vulnerability Assessment reporting.
• Good understanding of VAPT tools like Metasploit, Nessus and Burp Suite and should be able to write exploit codes.
• Relevant certifications (CEH, OSCP, Security+…) are an added benefit.
