Avalara is hiring for the role of Quote Support!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assist sales representatives in generating accurate and timely quotes for potential clients.
• Collaborate with sales teams to gather necessary information for quotes, including pricing, product information, and terms.
• Maintain and update pricing and product databases to ensure accuracy.
• Review sales deals and contracts to ensure they meet company policies and compliance standards.
• Work closely with the legal department and sales teams to address any discrepancies or issues in contracts.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of deal review documentation.
• Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities and deal status.
• Provide administrative support to the sales teams, including organizing meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new sales team members.
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency in the sales operations workflow.
• Participate in projects to streamline and optimize sales processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of sales processes and business operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of sales operations
