Zivanta Analytics is hiring for the role of Quantitative Data Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform detailed analysis and modeling of US Banking products using advanced quantitative techniques and industry-standard methodologies.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques to analyze data.
• Generate and visualize insights from data analysis, creating detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders. Prepares and presents technical data and recommendations at technical reviews.
• Utilize advanced programming skills, especially in Python, to implement systems and adhere to general software engineering principles.
• Design and implement improvements to current reporting and/or database structures.
• Interface directly with clients and the platform engineering team, automating processes for daily and historical calculations to construct powerful financial engines.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices related to valuation and risk management.

Requirements:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences or a quantitative field (Finance, Business, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering),
• Proficiency in Python/R/SQL programming, with a focus on financial data management.
• Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis, and statistical techniques.
• Strong interest in financial markets and the intersection of software and quantitative finance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both clients and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Flexibility to work with teammates across different time zones.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Self-motivation is essential, must have a strong desire to solve problems and be pro-active about finding solutions.
