Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• The role involves performing statistical analysis, building mathematical models using optimization methods, programming in Python, and conducting financial analysis with a focus on portfolio management techniques and derivatives.
• It also includes managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, handling data storage and processing, working with big data technologies, developing robust data pipelines, and ensuring high data quality.
• Additionally, the role covers wireframing and prototyping, designing visual and interactive interfaces, structuring and organizing content through information architecture, and creating effective infographics.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Computer Science/Math/Engineering or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Pandas, and Numpy.
• Strong interest and demonstrated experience in data science and quantitative domains.
• Comfortable with UNIX/Linux.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience working in a cross-functional teams, bridging technical & design perspectives.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment.
