Invesco India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the role of Quantitative Analyst!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- The Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Systematic Equity strategies team. The role involves designing and developing the technical platform that drives the evolution of our products.
- Working closely with colleagues from Research, Portfolio Management, and the IT department, the candidate will leverage software engineering practices and data warehouse technologies to build a scalable, high-performance infrastructure.
- The role also involves supporting the ongoing development of quantitative models and product enhancements.
- Design, develop, and test software solutions to support product and platform evolution.
- Implement and maintain quantitative financial models and production systems.
- Support and maintain daily alpha and risk forecasts for single and multi-asset class solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of research, portfolio management, and IT initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and platform scalability.
- Assist in the enhancement and evolution of quantitative models and product offerings.
- Review inputs and outputs of quantitative models for accuracy and completeness.
- Document processes and share knowledge with team members.
Requirements:
- 2 - 4 years of experience in software development, including business analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation
- Proficient in Python programming (required); experience with R is a strong plus.
- Proficient in SQL and database design (required).
- Strong interest in current software technologies and innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to generate ideas, resolve issues, and maintain a client-focused approach.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and focused in approach to work.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
