Quality Specialist (RSO - Radiation Safety Officer) Job in Nashik at ABB

ABB is hiring for the role of Quality Specialist (RSO - Radiation Safety Officer)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Handling all eLORA-related activities i.e. registration and licensing of x-ray machines etc.
• Fulfilling all mandatory requirements as per AERB guidelines.
• Coordinating and participating in benchmarking activities within the industry.
• Supporting initiatives to improve on agreed aspects of quality in collaboration with local units and across multiple units or functions as applicable.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.
• Ensuring integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience as an Industrial RSO is preferable.
• Experience in testing, measurement, and QMS of switchgear or vacuum interrupter.
• RSO is certified from BARC (Bhabha Automic Research Centre, Govt. body located in Mumbai).
• Knowledge of handling various measuring instruments like Vernier, Height gauge, Micrometer etc. will be added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
