Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Guarantee availability of products at the best Quality/Lead Time/Price/Environmental ratio.
• Support the team and industrial partners in their journey toward operational excellence.
• Improve current processes using various problem-solving tools and methodologies to reduce costs and ensure long-term competitiveness and attractiveness.

Requirements:

• Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure product quality during production and before shipment.
  • Strengthen and enhance the supplier quality system.
  • Prepare and plan factory assessments.
  • Ensure Decathlon compliance standards and local regulations are respected across quality, safety, environment, toxicology, and social compliance.
• Process & Performance Improvement
  • Improve and optimize production processes for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Support factories in increasing production efficiency.
  • Guarantee and enhance sustainability across production operations.
• Product & Supplier Management
  • Homologate 100% of products before Go-Shipment.
  • Monitor quality performance across the supplier perimeter.
  • Detect unacceptable or non-compliant situations within supplier facilities (E-points).
  • Manage suppliers through appropriate quality routines.
  • Evaluate risks and criticalities within suppliers and implement corrective actions.
  • Support suppliers in deploying fundamental control plans.
  • Drive partners toward improved operational performance.
  • Plan quality assessments within the supplier panel and encourage self-assessments.
  • Identify quality risks across the perimeter.
  • Co-build supplier control plans.
• Problem Solving & Risk Management
  • Resolve detected issues using DPS methodology.
  • Act as a quality assessor (including conducting pre-assessments at supplier locations).
  • Implement risk analyses across the perimeter and manage suppliers based on risk and impact.
  • Challenge the value chain to ensure product quality and process quality standards are consistently met.
