Quality Engineer (supplier + customer) Job in Rewari at Bos-jrg Automotive Systems Private Limited

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

• Planning and preparation of supplier PPAP documentation, ensure the full approval. Direct contact for suppliers during the production launch and series phase; assurance of quality and capacity requirements which demand all the purchasing parts including execution of R@Rs at all suppliers; execution of meetings with supplier and production release at supplier´s production site; check and approval of supplier´s D&P-FMEA
• Direct contact for all quality topics during the project phase / series production.
• Coordination of quality-related aspects in the project team, receive and identify customer complaints to notify the multidisciplinary team and coordinate together with the multidiciplinary team the actions through the problem-solving methodologies to close the issue effectively and sustainably.
• Participating in quality planning at all stages; from design to shipment of products to the customer. Creating documents such as control plan, records of inspection, visual aids and participating in the development of FMEA, supervising and implementing the recommended actions.
• Evaluation and release of prototypes and pre-series and series products before delivery to customers. Prepare supplier APQP documentation for submission.
• Define the safe launch plan (Quality Wall) for the products, share with customer and ensure the fulfillment.
• Planning and preparation of customer PPAP documentation, ensure the full approval.
• Supervision of processes (Line performance KPI´s = scrap, cost of non-quality like " Customer deductions, sortings", monitoring of weekly and monthly behavior of the top issues / offenders (Pareto) together with the corrective and preventive actions).
• Coordinate the Customer Fast Response Methodology with the multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare and present to the customer all the actions defined, prepare evidence and follow-up on the issue via portal or E-Mails (depending on customer-request) until final issue closure
• Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPAs) and 5S audits
• Plan and conduct internal audits in accordance with the Audit Plan (Product audits, Dock Audits) , developing and supervising the implementation of post-audit activities.
• Prepare quality reports for customers and management for external quality KPIs. (for example: claims, chargebacks, sorting, etc.)
• Attend external and internal audits to the QSM (Customer / BOS-JV), together with the follow up on the implementation and evaluation of corrective actions of the finding from the audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements regarding environmental quality and safety like IMDS requests during customer PPAP process
