Elsevier is hiring for the role of Quality Engineer II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities
• Identifying areas for cooperation with other teams to improve overall quality and implement initiatives improving testing capability and efficiency.
• Developing and executing automated and performance testing for assigned projects to enable delivery of high-quality software products and services successfully.
• Innovating process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance with consistent direction
• Interacting with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements

Requirements:

• Have experience in QA methodologies and testing skills.
• Have experience in designing and building automated test scripts within framework for web.
• Experience in in Java/JavaScript/Python with knowledge of Selenium WebDriver protocols or Appium is required
• Solid understanding of different test automation framework architectures.
• Have understanding of OOPS & core programming fundamentals of programming is must.
• Develop and maintain test plans and strategies for existing and new projects.
• Have to create and implement test plans by analyzing and reviewing project requirement documents.
• Develop automated test cases, execute, and report defects, daily test status as well as overall testing status Have knowledge of SQL, Jira, AWS, Jenkins & Git
