Quality Engineer - eGRC Job in Bengaluru at American Express

American Express is hiring for the role of Quality Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create and maintain automated tests where possible, running in a continuous integration environment. 
• Ensure excellent application usability through careful manual testing. 
• Collaborate with Product team, Development team and Dependent teams to plan, test and release high-quality features in the apps. 
• Implement test cases/scripts, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing 
• Follow and help cultivate consistent development best practices. 
• Work closely with development team to iteratively test concurrently with feature development. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and a consistent track record in writing test cases, running functional, automated, or performance tests, and managing defects.
• 2+ years of experience working in JavaScript with a solid understanding of JavaScript knowledge.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices, including frameworks such as Protractor, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, and JMeter.
• Extensive knowledge of manual and automated testing of GRC Archer applications.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery environments and platforms, especially Maven and Jenkins.
• Experience in working with an onshore/offshore model.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) is required.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles, including experience with iterative development methods and using tools like Rally.
