Quality Engineer Job in Hyderabad at Skyroot Aerospace

Skyroot is hiring for the position of Quality Engineer!

Responsibilities of Candidate:

• Work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to understand raw material requirements, in-process quality requirements, product test plans, and requirements
• In-process inspection of composites and metallic components including tooling.
• Generate and maintain Quality documents including QAPs, Dimensional inspection reports, process log sheets and in-process checklists, NDT reports, test reports, etc.
• Raw materials, fasteners and seals qualification and acceptance.
• Raise, Maintain and follow up for closure of Non-conformance reports.
• Follow-up and lessons learned are to be documented towards continuous improvement for zero defects.

Requirements:

• Graduation on mechanical engineering.
• Basic understanding with NDT techniques such as UT, RT and DPT.
• Knowledge on raw material testing standards such as ASTM/ISO for metallics and composites.
• Familiarity with quality acceptance standards for aerospace-grade fasteners & seals is desirable.
• Knowledge in manufacturing engineering of components like metallic and composites.
