Peepalco is hiring for the role of Quality Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop test cases, test plans, and issue reports.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Execute test cases manually and analyze results.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
• Develop QA processes and/or techniques to increase platform efficiencies.
• Concisely document all QA testing processes.
• Maintain release cycle changes.
• Assist with trouble-shooting production-level issues, behaviors, and potential problems/defects.
• Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements while ensuring the quality of the system as a whole.
• Prove for scalability and performance of software while running quality controls on components and final products.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and test design.
• 1–3 years of experience as a QA engineer in backend, frontend, or mobile application testing.
• Experience in Defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, etc.
• Good knowledge of the rest of the API  and understanding of web service technologies.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with strong attention to details.
• Good understanding of Python, JavaScript, and Linux commands and SQL Databases.
• Ability to interact with folks internally and externally to gather insights and handle multiple activities at once.
• Ability to think strategically and implement with excellence.
