Quality Engineer Job in Chennai at Caterpillar Inc.

Caterpillar is hiring for the role of Quality Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Execute multiple daily, weekly and monthly processes in support of warranty analysis and reporting.
• Develop monthly reports and present information to key stakeholders.
• Support the maintenance, usage and development of auxiliary tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Power apps to support warranty analysis and investigative tasks.
• Collaborate with product service engineers to address warranty issues.
• Interact with the global warranty team to recommend warranty debits/rejections.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a data science or data analytics background or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power apps
• Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques, including data mining and statistical analysis methods
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques
• Experience with SQL and other databases for querying and extracting data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
