Amazon is hiring for the role of Quality Assurance Engineer: Amazon Exports and Expansion!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• You create and execute test plans with high-quality test cases for straightforward scenarios involving one or more product components and features. You clearly document your work
• You perform initial defect triage and root cause analysis. You correctly log defects and provide relevant data to partner teams so they can address issues
• You are able to analyze test change requests (e.g., addition, removal, modification to existing features, etc.) and provide recommendations on how the change might impact test scope and/or product behavior
• You have some experience with the STLC and basic knowledge of test methodologies, You are skilled in four core software-testing techniques: (1) equivalence class partitioning, (2) boundary value testing, (3) verifying each requirement, and (4) state transition
• You have basic knowledge of a scripting language. You use this knowledge to debug, troubleshoot, create, and maintain test automation scripts. You create simple tools to reduce manual effort more accurately audit components or improve feature quality
• You are able to train new team members on team procedures

Requirements:

• 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
