Phenom People is hiring for the role of Quality Assurance Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Testing and Validation:
  • Act as the primary QA responsible for testing and qualifying new implementations.
  • Verify and validate implementation requirements for new customers based on gathered requirements and enhancements.
  • Ensure the Phenom platform complies with customer use cases and software requirements.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the QA Lead to document the scope of work from the discovery workbook (customer requirements).
  • Develop and execute test plans based on the scope of work criteria.
  • Identify and capture bugs in the bug tracking database (e.g., JIRA).
• Test Development and Execution:
  • Develop higher complexity test cases and select appropriate test suites.
  • Execute testing activities, including negative and backward compatibility scenarios, for customer software releases.
  • Perform troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive root cause identification and resolution.
• Automation and Process Improvement:
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to validate software functionality.
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement in software product development and processes.
  • Champion the implementation of best practices across QA activities.
• Project Management:
  • Independently manage schedules for assigned projects and deliverables.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are on time and not on the critical path.

Requirements:

• At least 1+ years of Python coding experience.
• Knowledge of SOAP and REST Web Services is a plus.
• Programming skills, including basic SQL, XML, web development, and web services, are advantageous.
• Good to have experience with Apache Nifi or other ETL-based data integration tools.
• Automation Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Ability to execute automated tests and validate results effectively.
• Soft Skills:
  • A great team player with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
