Quality Assurance Engineer Job in Bangalore at Slice

Slice is hiring for the role of Quality Assurance Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Execute functional and non-functional testing on mobile apps, web interfaces, and backend systems. 
• Design and execute detailed test cases based on requirements. 
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA. 
• Collaborate with developers to improve software quality and testing processes. 
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and report test results clearly. 
• Contribute to test planning and suggest improvements to enhance quality. 

Requirements:

• 1 – 4 years of experience working as a Quality Engineer.  
• Understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression). 
• Hands-on experience in functional testing and test case design. 
• Hands-on experience in debugging tools like Charles, Wireshark, Fiddler 
• Strong attention to detail and clear documentation skills. 
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). 
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively. 
• Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python, or Java) is a plus. 
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
• Experience with test management tools like TestLink or Zephyr is a plus. 
• Experience with any AI tool is a plus  
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like Postman or JMeter is a plus.
