Fynd is hiring for the role of Quality Assurance Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Actively participate in QA activities during all phases of product development, from requirements elaboration, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Perform manual testing activities for web-based platforms, including writing test cases based on business requirements and creating test data.
• Assist in creating and maintaining QA documentation throughout the development process.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve bugs efficiently.
• Execute test phases in alignment with project schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop a strong understanding of the technical architecture, design patterns, and infrastructure of the systems under test.
• Contribute to the creation of test plans, test cases, and test design documents.
• Use tracking tools like Jira or Asana to log, manage, and report bugs.
• Debug test failures, analyze logs, and make preliminary root cause assessments.

Requirements:

• A strong interest in software quality assurance and testing practices.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and basic testing methods for APIs.
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar is a plus.
• Understanding of SQL for database testing and basic query writing.
• Exposure to bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence).
• Knowledge of cross-platform browsers and operating systems.
• Basic proficiency in Git or other version control systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design and functional user experiences.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
