Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Review business requirements and technical specifications, providing timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers, engineers, and product managers).
• Triage issues and own them until ownership is transferred.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject (60% and above in 10th or 12th grade and/or higher)
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in testing Basic knowledge of APIs or relevant experience working on APIs or Postman / API testing, app & web testing, mobile testing
• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes, and the appetite to learn web/app automation
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is a plus
• A demonstrated self-starter
• Team player with a strong sense of collaboration and ownership
• Strong at communicating across teams, especially in a global setting
• Able to see mentoring with the notion that helping others means learning and growing yourself
