CometChat is hiring for the role of Quality Assurance Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Review and analyse system specifications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Create acceptance criteria for the stories in the sprint.
• Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyse results.
• Report bugs and errors in the development teams.
• Conduct post–release/post-implementation testing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Should be imaginative in listing out test scenarios,test cases,use cases etc.
• Should have experience in testing web, API and mobile platforms (performance testing will be advantageous)
• Should be from a computer/IT Background in terms of education.
• Should have knowledge of software development and testing methodologies.
• Should have good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in agile and QA methodology.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills.
