Quality Assurance Analyst (Automation) Job in Mumbai at Alpha Plus Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Alpha Plus Technologies is hiring for the role of Quality Assurance Analyst (Automation)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct manual as well as automated testing of web-based and desktop-based applications
• Create and implement detailed test cases for functional, unit, performance, security, and scalability testing
• Develop, design, and execute tests using scripts that automatically test functionality
• Suggest new tools and techniques to improve test efficiency
• Detect and minimize bugs, errors, and technical, security, and functional flaws in the applications as well as outline steps for minimizing the same
• Establish quantitative trends of types of bugs and their recurring frequency
• Prepare a ‘Test Result Report (TRR)’ for each tested release and ensure immediate discussion with the technology Team for validation of observations in the TRR
• Follow defined standard practices and methodologies for testing and defect tracking

Requirements:

•  B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. / MCA or other Technical Graduates with formal course-work in Software
  Development or Testing or Quality Assurance
• Certification in Automation Testing
• Minimum 1 year of Automation experience in Quality Assurance / Automation Tester profile for
  Software solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Software Testing Processes and methodologies is a pre-requisite
• Sound understanding of Functional Testing and the .Net platform (especially ASP.Net) is expected
• Keen desire to research and learn emerging testing techniques and ability to incorporate these
  meaningfully in the scheme of things for our products

Added Advantage Qualification / Skill-Sets:

• Hands-on experience in Selenium/Unified Functional Testing (UFT) would be advantageous
• Strong written communication
• Knowledge of Selenium Tools such as Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG & Selenium Grid
• Good Knowledge in Understanding Selenium Commands – Selenese
• Analysis and problem-solving capability with lateral thinking ability as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project
